Sometimes you come across a magic board and it can make surfing really fun! There are so many variables that make a board special, design, shape, blank, glassing, sanding and fins. All the elements need to align with the planets to make it happen! It is really difficult for a shaper but we try our very best! Here is a board going through the process. Hope it’s magic! Aloha

We are so fortunate to be building boards for some amazing people. This is Bob who is founder of Hurley International. He also started Billabong USA. Hurley was bought by Nike a few years ago.

I met his son and some people from Nike and talked about design in regards to footwear and surfboards. It was cool to have that type of brainstorming session.
